My research has been featured in international media outlets, and I occasionally also provide comment and expert opinion on major earthquakes and other tectonics-related news.

In a past life I worked as a freelance writer for MaterialsViews.com (now Advanced Science News), Wiley’s Materials Science News website, and in 2011 I undertook a British Science Association Media Fellowship at The Times, where I worked as science correspondent.
